So over the past few months I have been pretty damn busy. Between skimboarding, working, and moving I have had a very small amount of time to keep up with SkimBC… Which I’m very sorry for. But if anyone is wondering, here is an update of my skimboarding adventures over the past few months:

Tydle Mag’s 2009 Catalogue has been unleased to the world. Be sure to check it out at TydleMag.com. It’s the first of it’s kind in the flatland skimboarding world.

The setting was at Patchedhat Beach in Port Renfrew, where 23 skimboard enthusiasts braved the elements behind neoprene wetsuits four-thirds of a millimeter thick, $20 Wal-Mart Gumboots and swigs of Fireball whisky.
The occasion was the Sub Zero Skim Jam, Canada’s first ever wave skimboarding competition. The two-day rider-judged event is the brainchild of Brandon Wright, a recent UVic Engineering graduate, and the president of SkimBC, an online resource for skimboarders.
