Skimboarders to meet at NOON on Saturday at the Big Fish Lodge to decide where the best skimboarding spot will be!
Skimboarding event begins at noon on Saturday while the Mindil Beach Market and Brett Wildeman/Half Broke Horse concert begins at 8pm.
$40 to join in on the event, which includes accommodation at the Big Fish Lodge on the evening of March 26th and admission to the concert happening the same night! An additional $15 paid directly to the Big Fish Lodge on Sunday morning will give you access to the big brunch that they will have prepared! Why leave the lodge when you’re feeling like crap the next morning?
Come out and support wave skimboarders from all over British Columbia compete in the frigid waters of Port Renfrew!
Prizes provided by the event sponsors will be tossed out for a variety of challenges during the concert on the evening of the 26th! Last year’s event included a dance-off, a freestyle rap battle, limbo, and many other mini competitions!
Don’t miss out on this year’s event, the 5th edition of the Sub Zero Skim Jam promises to be a doozey!

Brandon has spent much more than the majority of his life skimboarding, born in '86 and skimming since '91 he has dedicated countless hours to progressing the sport for himself at his local beaches. Since 2002 Brandon has been trying to push the sport outside of the beaches by developing SkimBC.com, a labour of love for the sport that has helped shape who he is!
